Mike graduated from The College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, VA, in 1985 with a BA in Economics. He later pursued further education and earned a Master of Science in Real Estate Development from Johns Hopkins University.
Mike's professional journey began immediately after his undergraduate studies when he entered a formal Commercial Officer Training program at First National Bank of Maryland in 1985. Since then, he has built a career in commercial and commercial real estate lending, progressing from loan officer to chief lending officer. His extensive experience spans the Washington, DC/Maryland/Virginia markets.
On the personal front, Mike has been happily married for over 35 years and is the proud father of two adult sons. His wife is also a seasoned banker. They met in the training program back in 1986.
Outside of his professional life, Mike enjoys working out at the gym, riding his bicycle, hiking, and playing pickleball.
